International Film & Television Club (IFTC), a wing of Marwah Studios A Creative Enterprise, takes pleasure in inviting you to participate in its second Global Festival of Documentary Films (GFDF) from November 20th to 22nd, 2009, at Marwah Studios, Film City, NOIDA. We look forward to some outstanding entries by your young film makers in our competitive section.

The awards in the Young Film Maker Category would be – Ist prize of Rs. 25,000/-, IInd prize of Rs. 15,000/- and IIIrd prize of Rs.10,000/-

The highlights of the Festival are Smile Pinky by Mylan Megan, an Oscar winner this year, and Frontier Gandhi by Terry McLuhan, renowned film maker. These directors will be present to interact with the young film makers to share their experiences and observations. This would be a golden opportunity for the students to learn from the masters in almost one-on-one sessions.

As you might know, Marwah Studios A Creative Enterprise is a renonwed media house engaged in film production, providing production infrastructure to the industry and pioneer in media education in India through its flagship institutes like Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), Asian School of Media Studies (ASMS- a degree college) and Asian Business School (ABS).

Our first Global Festival of Documentary Films was a huge success and received well by the film fraternity and the media alike. The enthusiasm and the expectations of these people have propelled us to mount this year’s festival on a much larger scale. Some of the internationally acclaimed and awarded films and film personalities would be a part of this Film Festival.

Our other highlights of the Festival are – Market Section, daily ‘Meet the Director’ sessions, Networking opportunities every evening, Symposiums and Seminars.
